Hello. My name is Karen and I started Homestead Upholstery in 2014. I graduated from university in 1999 and then spent 14 years working for a big IT corporation where I was very lucky to meet my lovely husband. I knew the job wasn't for me so after the birth of my second son I took VR and trained to become an upholsterer. Homestead Upholstery was born and I have never looked back! It's a small business based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. The company name was inspired our Edwardian house name 'The Homestead'. I am passionate about beautiful fabrics, colour, design and fabulous furniture.

I specialise in making hand made bespoke footstools. The are 100% hand made by me in using high end materials and fabulous fabric. Check out the links above for more details.
